The children of our school received a taster session last week in golf and yoga.
We had an instructor in from Ufford Park who was able to show every student how to hit a golf ball in the correct manner. We had many promising student's that could go on further with this sport.
Jo King, who has been running a yoga class this term at the school, came in and everyone got a chance to experience some yoga. Many of the student's said how relaxed they felt after leaving the session.

French Week
French week.
In French week, class 3 had to make French role plays to show the rest of the class. We got into groups and looked in lots of French dictionaries for words we could use.
We did lots of different themes. We did animals and numbers etc.
In toast club we had lots of French foods like croissants and hot chocolate.
Class 1 made ‘croquet monsieur’ which is cheese and ham on toast. Class 1 also learnt a French song called Frere Jaques and made some French flags.
Also class 2 did french signs in the school of what the room are in French.

On the March 1st 2010 Easton school went to the wake and shake competition.
Wake and shake is a sort of dance mixed with exercise. In Easton school there were two teams the one I was in was called ‘the spy’s’ we had to go on first but with all of our hard work we came fourth.

Indian Dance and Mosiac day

The whole of Easton School took part and participated in a fun packed day of Indian dancing and Mosiac making with the help from Peter and Suzanna who kindly spent the day with us.
The children learnt about the Indian culture and dancing, all the children really enjoyed the dancing and fully participated in it as you can see from the Photographs above.
In the picture on the left the children are learning an Indian Prayer and in the picture on the right girls are putting the finishing touches to their mosiacs.
