Dance East came to Easton

Today Caroline Mummery came to school to teach class 3 'contact' and 'lifts'. The children had a great time learning how to lift each other in the correct way without injuring thier backs. They are hoping to use these new techniques in the summer play.

A Midsummer Night's Dream

After many fabulous auditions the final cast has been chosen for our latest summer play. This year we will be pulling out all the stops for our performance of 'A Midsummer Nights Dream'. We are hoping you will support us by coming along with family and friends on July 9th and joining us with a picnic.

Class 2 go to Norwich Castle

Class 2 had a very successful trip to Norwich Castle in May. They spent the day learning about the history of the castle, Romans and Egyptians ready for their next class project. The children had the opportunity to visit the dungeons in the castle and soon realised it would not be a nice place to be.
"I liked the shop because there was lots of different things there and I bought four crystals to share with my family".
"I liked the room we went in at the end. It reminded me of the hall in the Harry Potter films. It had secret rooms at the top when you went up the stairs to the large balcony, one of the best days ever".
These were a couple of the comments from Henry and Oliver.

Decorating of Class 3

Class 3 has been beautifully decorated over the past few weeks and the children are thrilled to bits with the new colours. The colour scheme is much more refreshing and makes the room feel even bigger. New furniture has been purchased to finish the room off and make it the perfect learning environment.
